I disagree with that last statement greg, Liverpool are hell of a lot better in Europe that Arensel can ever wish to be.

one 8-0 cannot be used as a symbol of greatness and their history is gd fair enough but have they qualified yet? no have arsenal? yes who is higher in the prem (i no u sed europe) ? arsenal

yes arsenal are higher in the prem at the moment but it's not judged on where they are at the moment is it?
And yes 8-0 can be judged as a sign of greatness, it set a new record for the highest ever score in a champions league fixture. Beating THEIR OWN record.

against a team that isnt that well up in the rankings i get ur point they beat their own record fair enough but i just dont think u can say they r a shoe in for victory because they beat a lower class club by 8-0 theyve qualified now havnt they? or do they have to win the last game?

they have to win, but how can they be lower class. They are one of the best thrity-two clubs in europe, they have to be to get into the champions league.
